Recommendations

The Commissioners, LB&I, SB/SE, and TE/GE Divisions, in consultation with the Chief, HCO, should establish controls to ensure that appropriate direct and indirect Knowledge Management costs are tracked and monitored.

The Commissioner, TE/GE Division, should assess the high costs of its Knowledge Management program and take actions to ensure that resources (costs) align with TE/GE Division needs of its Knowledge Management program.
