The Small Business/Self-Employed Division's Director, Collection Inventory Delivery and Selection, should revise the nonfiler strategy to include specific action items aimed at increasing the number of nonfilers who are contacted and the nonfiler response rate. Action items should focus on increasing automation and addressing areas of taxpayer confusion in an effort to limit any additional burden on current resources in the Compliance Services Collection Operations function.
