Recommendations
The IRS Human Capital Officer should work with the TIGTA Office of Investigation to update programming to allow all potential FTCP violation codes to be transmitted electronically to the ALERTS.
The IRS Human Capital Officer should review the 12 closed cases not properly coded or entered into the ALERTS to determine whether the potential FTCP violations were addressed.
The IRS Human Capital Officer should improve guidance to clearly identify responsibility for manually entering complaints into the ALERTS.
