Annual Program Plan

Our Annual Program Plan lists our ongoing and planned projects for Fiscal Year 2027. Every year, we conduct a strategic planning process designed to identify high-risk or emerging issues impacting federal tax administration and the Internal Revenue Service. We adjust our program plan accordingly to respond to congressional requests or new issues.

Supplemental Plan

This plan outlines how we will use our Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) resources to provide robust oversight of the IRS’s implementation of IRA. With IRA supplemental funding lasting through 2031, our work and reporting will be ongoing.
